NEW. YORK

We acknowledge that the city of New York is situated on the ancestral homeland of the Lenape people. We honor and recognize the enduring presence and contributions of the Lenape Nation, past and present, as stewards of this land for generations. We also acknowledge the diverse Indigenous peoples who have stewarded these lands throughout the ages, including the Canarsee, Shinnecock, and Munsee Lenape Nations, among others. We express our gratitude for their continued stewardship, resilience, and cultural heritage, and strive to uphold their legacy of respect for the land and all its inhabitants.
